A manual gate valve is a type of valve that controls the on-off status of pipelines by manually rotating a handwheel to drive the valve stem, which in turn lifts or lowers the gate plate. Its core components include a handwheel, valve stem, gate plate and valve body.

Working on the principle of tight sealing between the gate plate and valve seat, it allows fluid to flow linearly along the channel with minimal flow resistance when fully open; when closed, the gate plate fits tightly against the valve seat, ensuring reliable sealing performance.

Characterized by simple structure, low manufacturing cost, intuitive operation and convenient maintenance, this valve is suitable for medium-and low-pressure, large-diameter pipelines conveying clean or slightly contaminated media such as clean water, crude oil and natural gas.
